Roseburg Police jailed a man for a trespass and littering incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:45 p.m. an officer contacted the 61-year old regarding his pile of trash behind a business in the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street. Dispatch advised that the man was a city exclusion violator. The area where he was sleeping was also covered in rubbish, soiled clothing and cardboard.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for offensive littering. Bail was set at $5,000.
