With forecasts indicating the potential for air conditions to worsen on Tuesday, Roseburg Public Schools will operate on a half day schedule.

Superintendent Jared Cordon said a half-day will not require remote learning to occur or makeup days later in the year. Cordon said the early release will apply to every school, using the following release times:

*Roseburg High School: 12:45 p.m.

*Fremont and Jo Lane: 12:20 p.m.

*All elementary schools: 1:30 p.m.

Buses will run according to these schedules. Students will have access to lunch at school.
