Late Sunday afternoon, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office issued a Level 1 BE READY to evacuate notice for the Tyee Ridge Complex Fire:

This is for Tyee Road at the intersection with Rock Creek Road, downstream to Fanchin Lane, to include all residences in between.

Level 1 BE READY to evacuate means:

Be aware of danger in the area and stay informed. View the wildfire evacuation map at: www.dcso.com/evacuations.

*Make plans and prepare to evacuate. Gather necessary supplies for health, safety and identification

*Act early if you are older, have children, disabilities, or limited access to transportation. Consider moving pets and livestock early

*Plan possible evacuation routes

*Check with neighbors and share information.

All previous evacuation notices remain in place and unchanged.
