Sutherlin Police jailed a man for an alleged attempted burglary on Thursday night.

An SPD report said just after 10:30 p.m. 39-year old Rodger Oneal allegedly broke a neighbor’s living room window while attempting to enter the home in the 300 block of Taylor Street. Oneal was charged with two counts of attempt to commit a Class A Felony, first-degree criminal trespass, second degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, and menacing. Bail was set at $10,000.
