Umpqua National Forest volunteer trail work parties continue through October.

The next one is scheduled for September 9th at the Cow Creek National Trail with Source One Serenity. Brushing, tread work, crosscut and general trail maintenance will take place. Those helping should meet that morning at 9:00 a.m. at Devil’s Flat Campground. After the work is complete, a picnic meal will take place. Chicken skewers will be served but participants should bring a side dish. The work party is a family-friendly event and children are welcome.
