Winston Police are seeking a man who robbed a business early Thursday morning.

Information from WPD said just before 1:45 a.m. officers and deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Fox Den Eatery in the 100 block of Northwest Douglas Boulevard after it was reported that a robbery had just occurred. Witnesses and an employee said they observed a man enter the business wearing a mask.

The man handed the employee a note stating he was armed and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and left the area on foot. Law enforcement was unable to locate the suspect.

WPD is asking anyone with information regarding this crime to contact WPD at 440-4471. The investigation is ongoing.
