The Douglas County Parks Department will temporarily close Singleton Park next Tuesday, August 29th.

A county release said the park is located a few miles northwest of Roseburg where the North Umpqua and South Umpqua rivers meet.

The closure will be the second phase of an improvement project. It will include restriping and the installation of speed bumps and is expected to take one day to complete.

Park patrons are encouraged to select an alternate facility that will fit their needs among the large inventory of Douglas County Parks during the temporary closure.
