Two people were jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

A DCSO report said the pair had been evicted from a trailer park in the 100 block of Cameron Road in the Myrtle Creek area last week. The park manager had returned to change the locks when he noticed the couple inside. They refused to leave when he ordered them out of the house. Eventually, they walked to another trailer.

At about 11:20 a.m. deputies gained consent to enter the residence and located both people. When the deputy attempted to place the 38-year old man in custody, he allegedly resisted. A taser was deployed multiple times and physical force was applied as well. Eventually he was taken into custody.

Both people were charged with first degree trespass. The man was also charged with resisting arrest and held on $12,500 bail. The woman, age 31, also had additional charges from a case with the Myrtle Creek Police Department. She was held on $6,250 bail.
