Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle wreck at the Harvard Avenue interchange with Interstate Five on Monday afternoon.
An OSP report released Wednesday said just after 1:45 p.m. the driver of a southbound van was negotiating the curve on the off-ramp when the mans foot got stuck between the brake pedal and the gas pedal. The operator lost control and drove over the curb and across the on-ramp. The vehicle went off the right shoulder and hit several wood landscaping beams before stopping against the embankment.
The was some damage to the front of the van. The driver-an 80- year old, was not injured.
