ROSEBURG HAS RECORD HIGH FOR WEDNESDAY

It was another record setting day for the Umpqua Valley on Wednesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that it got to 108 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That makes it one of hottest days ever for Roseburg. Forecasters said it also reached 108 degrees on August 2nd and 3rd in 2017.

Monday tied for the second hottest day in Roseburg history when it got to 109 degrees. Roseburg’s all-time record high is 114 degrees, set on June 27th, 2021.

Roseburg is forecast to see the mid to upper 90s Thursday, before dropping back up to the upper 80s to low 90s for the next several days.
