A driver was taken to the hospital after a freeway wreck on Wednesday.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 5:15 p.m. a sedan was traveling northbound about a mile south of Oakland when the driver lost control after a tire went flat. The vehicle crashed into the median and struck the side panel of a semi-truck. The sedan came to an uncontrolled rest against the median. The semi-truck came to a controlled rest alongside the shoulder of the road.

The driver of the sedan was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center. The sedan was towed from the scene.
