Monday tied for the second hottest day in the history of Roseburg.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 109 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. Roseburg also hit 109 degrees on August 15th, 2020. It was also the hottest August 14th ever in Roseburg history. The record high for August 14th had been 104 degrees, set in 2002.

Roseburg’s hottest day ever was June 27th, 2021 when the high was 114 degrees.

Roseburg should stay in the triple digits for two more days. 105 degrees is forecast for the high Tuesday, with 104 degrees expected on Wednesday.
