Two people were cited for drinking in public in separate incidents on Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 9:00 a.m. officers contacted a 26-year old in the 900 block of Northwest Highland Avenue. The man was allegedly walking down the street carrying an open beer. The suspect was highly intoxicated and dumped out the beer. He was released on the scene.

At 1:00 p.m. officers contacted a 56-year old at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The man was allegedly drinking a beer but poured it out. He was cited and then released.
