The fire danger in the Umpqua National Forest has increased to Industrial Fire Precaution Level 4, as of Monday.

A UNF release said IFPL’s are stages of restrictions that apply to work activities, including personal firewood cutting, on Forest Service lands in order to reduce the risk of a wildfire igniting. IFPL 4 is a General Shutdown with operations prohibited across the entire forest. No waivers will be issued.
