A Roseburg man was jailed by Roseburg Police for a parole violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 8:10 a.m. officers contacted the 29-year old at his camp in the 400 block of Southeast Stephens Street, knowing the man was wanted. His parole officer authorized a detainer for failing to report.

The suspect was taken into custody and detained without bail.
