A Roseburg woman was cited for third-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering by Roseburg Police early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. officers responded to Colony Market in the 1600 block of Northwest Keasey Street, after a caller said a woman was digging through the trash and screaming. Upon arrival, officers located a large trash can that had been tipped over, spilling trash all over the parking lot.

The suspect was released after the citation was issued.
