Roseburg Police jailed a man after a reported harassment incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 1:50 a.m. the 30-year old was upset that the victim was leaving due to a separation. He allegedly stabbed the front tire of their vehicle and went inside their residence. When the victim tried to get into the house, the door was locked. When she knocked on the door to be let in, the suspect allegedly opened the door then punched the victim in the mouth, causing a slight cut to her lower lip.

The man was taken into custody in the 400 block of Southeast Jackson Street. He was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500.
