An open house and workshop to share information about the Rogue-Umpqua Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridor Master Plan will take place Thursday night in Glide from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Glide Community Center.
The partner agencies of the Oregon Department of Transportation, U.S. Forest Service, and FHWA Western Federal Lands are coordinating a series of related transportation planning efforts along the Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway between Roseburg and Gold Hill. The corridor includes OR 138 from Roseburg to Diamond Lake, OR 230 to OR 62 from Diamond Lake to approximately Eagle Point, and OR234 from Eagle Point to Gold Hill.
The open house and workshop will include large maps of the corridor and open discussion about the challenges, opportunities and areas of interest for users and system owners throughout. Those interested can come to any portion of the two-hour event.
