A driver was jailed following an alleged DUII incident Sunday evening.

An Oregon State Police report said at 10:40 p.m. the 33-year old from Riddle, was called in for allegedly driving intoxicated. A trooper spotted the man’s vehicle near the intersection of Pine Street and First Street in Canyonville. The driver reportedly showed signs of impairment and refused all standard field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and was transported to the Myrtle Creek Police Department. The driver provided breath samples and his blood alcohol level was reportedly .27 percent. That is over three times the legal limit of intoxication for driving.

The man was charged with DUII and driving while suspended-misdemeanor. He was detained without bail. His vehicle was towed.
