Aviva Health is holding a town hall Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge on South Main Street.

An Aviva release said the event will give residents an opportunity to share information about the current state of health care in south county.

Aviva Health has operated a medical clinic in Myrtle Creek since 2008 and opened a dental clinic at a separate location in the area, in 2020.

Mark Tsuchiya, marketing and development director at Aviva Health said, “We look forward to meeting with the people in South County and hearing first-hand about their health care experiences and any challenges they face”. Tsuchiya said he hopes the feedback received leads to improvements in their efforts to care for residents in the area.

The town hall will start with a complimentary meal, followed by a brief introduction of Aviva Health staff and community leaders. After a short presentation by Aviva Health CEO KC Bolton, an information sharing and listening session will begin.

This is the first of a series of town halls that Aviva Health will host over the next few months in communities where it operates clinics. Gatherings in Drain, Sutherlin, Glide and Roseburg will be scheduled in the near future.
