Roseburg Police cited a woman for prohibited camping at the duck pond on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 12:30 p.m. the 64-year old allegedly had a tarp attached to four shopping carts at the entrance to the pond, in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. She was reportedly bedded down on an air mattress under the tarp. The woman had already been issued multiple copies of the new camping ordinance and had been given multiple warnings.

She was released after being given the citation.
