The Umpqua National Forest is having another volunteer trail work party on Saturday.

The UNF is partnering with Source One Serenity to work on the Wild Rose Trail #1535.

The event includes the option to camp at the Illahee Flats either Friday or Saturday night, or both. Friday night there will be storytelling and drumming by an Osage tribal descendant whose family had connections to the Illahee. This will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The trail work party begins at 9:00 a.m. at Illahee Flats. This trail needs maintenance and the work will include debris removal, brushing, tread work, and cross-cut logout.
