The Oregon Department of Human Services is presenting its First Thursday event on Thursday.

The monthly gathering of community resources will be in the parking lot of the ODHS offices on West Harvard Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Services available will include:

*Feeding Umpqua, OSU Extension and Thrive Umpqua will have an abundance of free produce, healthy recipe samples and information about local wellness opportunities

*Maternity support services from Hope Clinic for Women and Safe Haven Maternity Home

*Free gently-used clothing and shoes for men, women and children

*Dental screenings will be provided from Mercy Foundation and CHI Mercy Health

*Children and family services including Cobb Children’s Learning Center, Peace at Home Advocacy Center along with other organizations

*Housing resources from the Gary Leif Navigation Center, UCAN Housing and Homeless Outreach, and Onward Roseburg

Many other organizations will be on site. Family friendly activities like games, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and more will also be available.
