Three vehicles got tangled up on Interstate Five Friday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said the accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. about a mile south of the Winston exit.

An SUV was traveling north with a van behind it. A trooper witnessed the accident as he was on a traffic stop on the shoulder of the roadway nearby.

The SUV stopped in the roadway and the second vehicle crashed into the back of it. A semi-tractor and trailer crashed into the back of the second vehicle. The first driver stated that another vehicle had stopped in front of him, and then drove away.

It did not appear that anyone was injured, according to the OSP report.
