A Glide man crashed his SUV into a county road barrier on Wednesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said the accident took place just after 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Little River Road and Water Fall Lane.

The 35-year old driver said the wreck took place when he found a bee in his lap. The man had no insurance and no way to remove the vehicle from the roadway. A tow company responded and took possession of the SUV.
