Troopers with Oregon State Police dealt with a two-vehicle accident that blocked traffic Tuesday morning at the intersection of Highway 138E and Dixonville Road, approximately four miles east of Roseburg.

An OSP report said at approximately 9:20 a.m. a pickup was traveling eastbound on the highway when a sedan made a left turn from Dixonville Road toward the west bound lane of the highway. The driver of the pickup did not have time to stop. The front of the pickup collided with the driver’s side of the sedan. Both vehicles appeared to be totaled from the accident.

The driver of the sedan, an 89-year old woman, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for what appeared to be minor injuries. She received a warning for making a dangerous left turn. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
