Roseburg Police jailed a man following a disturbance late Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said shortly after 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block of Northwest Valley View Drive after a 25-year old had allegedly broken a glass window and damaged a homeowner’s truck. The suspect was extremely intoxicated and was involved in an argument with friends, which led to his outburst.

The man was taken into custody without incident. He had several cuts and wounds from punching the window and the hood of the truck. The suspect was cleared at CHI Mercy Medical Center and then transported to corrections at about 6:30 p.m.
