Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at about 8:15 p.m. an officer saw the 45-year old lying on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway, drinking a beer. The man was released after the citation was issued.
