Roseburg Police jailed a man following a restraining order violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said on July 4th, 30-year old Dylan Lewis ran into a female at Safeway and had a five-minute conversation with her while holding their daughter. This conversation violated a restraining order and a no contact order, and the victim reported it on Tuesday.

With the help of the Sutherlin Police, officers located Lewis at the Bottle Drop at about 12:00 p.m. In addition, fentanyl was allegedly located in the suspect’s pocket. Lewis was charged with a restraining order violation, a no contact order violation, and a parole violation. He was cited for unlawful possession of fentanyl. Lewis was detained without bail.
