Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 7:00 pm. the 31-year old was observed by loss prevention employees allegedly stealing items from the store in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The suspect had previously been trespassed and arrested for stealing at the business.

The man was contacted nearby and taken into custody. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Bail was set at $4,000.
