1,624 Pacific Power customers in Douglas County lost power Tuesday afternoon.

Regional Business Manager Sam Carter told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that an entire circuit went out at about 4:20 p.m. Carter said the area included parts of the downtown Roseburg west of Southeast Pine Street, around the Douglas County Fairgrounds, and along Highway 99S north of Happy Valley Road in Green.

Carter said power was fully restored to the area by around 7:40 p.m. He said no cause was found which most likely means a tree branch or animal got into lines or equipment and eventually cleared itself.
