Roseburg Police jailed a woman after an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 9:40 a.m. officers contacted 55-year old Machelle Ledford in the 600 block of Southeast Flint Street. Ledford was reportedly screaming from an apartment balcony. The owner of the apartment wanted the woman to leave but she refused. When officers ask Ledford to leave, she allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and came towards them before a taser was deployed.

Ledford was taken into custody without incident. She was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and for resisting arrest. Bail was set at $10,000.
