Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident early Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:45 a.m. 31-year old Ryan Whitaker was allegedly rummaging through items on the back porch of property in the 1600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Officers located Whitaker and took him into custody.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, giving false information to police and for a probation violation. Whitaker was jailed on $7,500 bail.
