Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged reckless endangering incident early Friday.

An RPD report said at about 2:50 a.m. a caller said that a family member had attacked her and a second victim in the 1400 block of Northwest Keasey Street. The incident occurred while the victims were driving the suspect home after he had gotten out of jail.

The investigation concluded that the suspect had allegedly grabbed the gear shift of the vehicle, causing the driver to slam on the brakes.

The 18-year old was charged recklessly endangering another person. Bail was set at $6,250.
