Roseburg Police cited two people for first-degree criminal trespass on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 8:50 p.m. officers responded to the 600 block of Southeast Flint Street after a caller said that two people were inside a vacant residence. Officers detained a 28-year old man and a 43-year old woman who were found inside the home.

The pair admitted to being inside without permission and said they were there to charge their cell phones. Officers learned that the homeowner never gave the subjects permission to be on the property and wanted to pursue charges.

Both were arrested without incident and taken to corrections where they were released after the citation was issued.
