Drivers should use caution and expect delays when maintenance to extend the life of Lookingglass Road begins next week in south Roseburg.

A City of Roseburg release said cracks in the road are being sealed before chip repairs are performed in August.

Roseburg Public Works Department will seal cracks in about 4,700 linear feet, or 0.90 miles, on the road from West Harvard Avenue south to the city limits starting on Monday July 10th. Work will be performed weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is expected to be finished by Friday July 21st.

The road will remain open, but motorists should expect delays, possible detours, and/or flagging to control traffic.
