Roseburg Police cited a man for offensive littering twice over the weekend.

An RPD report said Saturday at 4:30 p.m. the 61-year old was contacted near the corner of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Washington Avenue. The mam had been contacted earlier in the day and given a warning regarding the trash surrounding his camp, which was located on the sidewalk. Since the camp had not been cleaned up the man was cited and given his second downtown exclusion warning.

Sunday at about 8:20 p.m. an officer saw the man in the same location. He was sleeping in a broken-down tent with garbage spilling out onto the sidewalk. The suspect was sitting approximately seven feet from a trash can. He was given another littering citation and then was released.
