Roseburg Police jailed a woman for alleged misuse of 911, on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. the 42-year old allegedly called 911 numerous times, yelled at dispatchers, and told them she needed medical attention, but then refused to be transported to the hospital.

The suspect called dispatch several more times and said she would call 911 whether she had an emergency or not. Officers contacted the woman in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street. The woman said she was stressed out and had a dry mouth.

She was taken into custody. Bail was set at $6,250.
