COUNTY LAWMAKER PART OF REPUBLICAN INTERIM LEADERSHIP TEAM

A Douglas County lawmaker is part of the House Republican Interim Leadership Team.

On Thursday, House Republican Leader Vikki Breeze-Iverson announced the team, following the recent adjournment of the 2023 session of the Oregon State Legislature. A release from the House Republican Caucus said the group is gearing up for interim work and the 2024 elections.

Breese-Iverson said, “The 2023 Regular Legislative Session has come to and end and it is time to look toward what is ahead in 2024. I am excited to announce the Interim Leadership Team for the House Republicans. These individuals have proven leadership during the long session and are ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work on 2024 priorities”.

The team includes Assistant Leaders Christine Goodwin of Myrtle Creek, Rick Lewis of Silverton, Mark Owens of Crane, Cyrus Javadi of Tillamook, Emily McIntire of Eagle Point and Jeff Helrich of Hood River.
