A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged theft from a store on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 8:00 p.m. the 23-year old allegedly stole just over $16 worth of food items from Albertsons in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway.

Officers contacted him and he admitted to the theft. The man was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
