Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged stalking order violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 9:20 a.m. the 54-year old was contacted by officers after he allegedly shined a laser light into the home of a victim in the 1200 block of West Ellan Street. He was charged for the crime and detained on $5,000 bail. The man was released later in the day.
