Movies in the Park concludes at the Nichol’s Band Shell in Stewart Park on Friday night.

Presented by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and Rogue Credit Union, the series features family/friendly movies shown on a giant screen, along the banks of the South Umpqua River.

Friday the movie Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will be shown at around 9:00 p.m. Pre-show entertainment at 7:30 p.m. will include the Roseburg Public Library’s Corny Crow show featuring ventriloquist Steve Chaney. Umpqua Actors Community Theatre will present an abridged version of the upcoming summer musical, The Wizard of Oz.

Snacks will be available or those attending can bring food or drink. Alcohol is not allowed at the event. City of Roseburg Parks are tobacco free. Children age thirteen and under should be accompanied by an adult. Pets are not permitted at the event.
