Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation early Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 12:30 a.m. the 32-year old was said to be at a location that he is restrained from in the 500 block of Southeast Stephens Street. An officer contacted the man there. An employee said the suspect was trying to get her to open the door of a victim.

The man was detailed with bail set at $5,000.
