In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Summer Arts Festival is still seeking volunteers. Presented by the Umpqua Valley Arts Association, the 54th annual event takes place this Friday through Sunday at the facility on West Harvard Avenue.

Volunteers are needed to serve as gate crew, food court or building monitor, booth sitter, art vendor set up assistance and more. Some of this help is needed during the event with assistance also needed before and after the event as well. All volunteers who serve for two or more shifts during the event will receive a free festival t-shirt.
