A Roseburg man was jailed for littering on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 12:45 p.m. the 42-year old was contacted at his camp in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Avenue. The camp is located about seventy-five feet from the bank of Deer Creek and was full of trash. The man was charged with depositing trash within one hundred yards of a waterway. He was detained on $2,500 bail.
