The Douglas County Parks Department will temporarily close Singleton County Park on Thursday June 22nd.

A County release said crews will work on a much-needed pavement improvement project that is expected to take only one day to complete. The park is located off Garden Valley Road a few miles west of Roseburg near where the North Umpqua and South Umpqua rivers meet.

The park is a popular destination for day use activities such as fishing, swimming, picnicking and barbecues. Patrons are encouraged to select an alternate facility from the large number of county parks during the closure.
