Sutherlin Police jailed a woman after an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday.

An SPD report said at 8:40 p.m. 41-year old Shannon McKeehan was running into traffic and trying to get into vehicles in the 1300 block of West Central Avenue. When an officer stopped her, McKeehan allegedly ran away and up onto Interstate 5. There was a struggle at the guardrail and the woman reportedly ran back onto the freeway.

A taser was ultimately deployed and McKeehan was taken into custody. She was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and for third degree escape. McKeehan was detained on $15,000 bail.
