Roseburg Police jailed one person and cited another after alleged littering incidents early Wednesday. The RPD report said at 3:00 a.m. the pair were contacted in their camps at Stewart Park in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. Both camps had immense amounts of trash scattered around and were within one hundred feet of the South Umpqua River.

The 40-year old woman and 59-year old man were both cited for littering near waterways. The man also had a warrant for his arrest. He was detained on $13,750 bail
