A driver was cited after his vehicle left the roadway, striking several trees on Sunday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 6:30 p.m. the 41-year old Roseburg man was driving in the 12000 block of Elkhead Road north of Oakland when he failed to negotiate a curve. The mini-van left the roadway and went down an embankment.  The man was cited for having no operators license and for failure to maintain a lane. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
