STORM PIPE REHAB PROJECT ON ALAMEDA AND VINE UNDERWAY

June 13, 2023 3:40 a.m.

Motorists should expect weekday lane closures and detours for the next few weeks on Northeast Alameda Avenue and Northeast Vine Street in Roseburg.

A City of Roseburg release said Allied Trenchless has been contracted to rehabilitate existing storm pipe using cured-in-place pipe liner installation. The project is an ongoing annual activity that has proven to be an effective way of extending the useful life of the city’s storm pipe infrastructure.

The project is beginning Tuesday and is expected to be completed by Friday July 7th. Crews will be working between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on weekdays only.

The release said the project will begin on Northeast Alameda Avenue at Northeast Morris Street and continue west on Alameda to Northeast Vine Street. The project will continue south on Vine to Northeast Church Avenue.

During the project, there will be lane closures and detours in place to route vehicle traffic around the work zone.
